We spent 12 days over our birthdays on the amazing island in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of southern Africa. It is the 2nd time I have been there.

We got upgraded from Club to First on British Airways, perhaps as we flew on my birthday. We were a bit delayed as the plane took on extra fuel as there was a cyclone heading towards he island and we may have had to be diverted. The 12 hour flight was uneventful.

The 1st day there the weather was very windy, but the rest of time it was great. Often a bit cloudy which made it more comfortable. We go great tans.

The hotel was fab. Our room huge and amazing. We especially loved the gigantic pool.
