We spent a few days before and
over Easter at this fantastic hotel in UAE in Dubai. The hotel is
effectively 3 hotels in one, each of the blocks offering a different
type of room and approach. We were in the "Club" hotel, which had its
own dedicated check-in and a club room that served breakfast, soft
drinks all day, tea and cakes in the afternoon and canapés with drinks
in the evening. A real treat and good respite from the very hot sun.
We flew there on BA First and
slept all the way. The hotel picked us up in a huge BMW 7 series.
The hotel was fantastic. We
had a deal where we could eat in any of the restaurants, and we really
liked the fusion and the Italian one. The pool was great and the sea
amazing. The other highlight was a day trip to the water fun park. We
love them. This was especially good.
The shopping (which Dubai used
to be famous for) was not that great as prices are not as competitive as
they used to be I believe.
